GRAMMY-nominated writer-producer MARK L. HUNT founded Culver Academy's Fine Arts Film Society & wrote reviews under the encouragement of film critic Gene Siskel. Hunt further developed his media skills at CBS Television (Television City), as Features Editor for InGrove Magazine (South Beach) & with Paramount Pictures (Hollywood) Advertising Dept. promoting the hit comedy TV series "Cheers" & "Family Ties." 

Chronicling innovator Dowd's illustrious five-decade long career in music production earned Hunt a Grammy Nomination as Producer (Best Long Form Music Video) critical acclaim & multiple international film festival honors, including SUNDANCE's Grand Jury Prize Selection. (The film is scheduled for BluRay Re-Release in 2019). 

AFTER producing multiple segments, promos & corporate docs Hunt secured financing for, produced & co-edited the film "Tom Dowd & the Language of Music" with Eric Clapton, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, The Allman Brothers, Joe Bonamassa & other recording legends. 

WHEN he's not developing feature films, Mark L. Hunt is story editing, creating effective branding & unique promotional media.
